Pseudonym of Valiant Thor

I am reading the book "Magic in the Space Age The rise of Neo Paganism"  by Valiant Thor. The book was firat published  in 1974, then republished in 1981, 2018, 2022. From the Introduction of this book written in 2022 we find the following information:

In 1960  Valiant Thor using the pseudonym Theodor Laurance studied the New Age fields: which at that time was run by satanic cults, with rumors of Rituals sex and blood sacrifice.
Venussian command believed some of these cults were ex nazists while other were set up by British Intelligence to spy on the Ex nazis.

With the help of a veteran occultist and a passionate enthusiast historian "Pieter Levesque" Valiant Thor collected documents on the subject and decided to publish it under pseudonym.
